WKAR eNews: Wed 11/19/08
WKAR will offer a free digital television information session at the Chesaning library on Thursday, November 30, at 10:30 a.m. If you haven't prepared for the digital transition, take action now. WKAR will turn off its analog signal on January 13, 2009.

We also remind you of WKAR's ongoing collection for the Greater Lansing Food Bank. So far, we are more than 50 percent toward our goal of 100 bags or boxes. Of course, the need is great and we would love to top that goal, so do take part!

Our food bank bin is in the lobby of the Communication Arts & Sciences Building with parking in the adjacent ramp. A reminder that items must be commercially boxed, bagged or canned, non-perishable and with attention paid to expiration dates! If you've already participated, thanks so very much!
